Stereotype, fragment

The photo installation “Stereotype” attempts to get closer to the nucleus of everyday monotonous activities, to distinguish them and thus show us the path away from the thoughtlessness on which are based certain predominant stereotypes. The installation uses not only images but also words which pass freely from their purely graphic form to become signs containing various possible meanings. The ability of word plays and hyperbole to substantially enlivens one’s day, “Stereoype”
is also an intimate rebellion against banality.

Fotografická instalace “Stereotype” se snaží přiblížit k tušenému zárodku každodenních monotónních činností,
rozpoznat je – a tím i ukázat cestu z bezmyšlenkovitosti, na které se zakládá nadvláda stereotypů. Využívá při tom nejen obrazu, ale i slov, při čemž volně přechází od jejich čistě grafické podoby až k náznakům různých možných významů. Právě schopnost slovních hříček a nadsázky totiž člověku podstatně oživuje jeho dny.Stereotype je tak zároveň intimní vzpourou proti všednosti.
